Sun’s 500 teraflops supercomputer
According to this article from News.com, Sun is challenging IBM for supercomputer supremacy with their new Constellation system. The new system from Sun is currently in operation at the University of Texas and is expected to perform at a level of 500 teraflops (500 trillion operations per second).
