After years of helping people, I’ve had to establish a few rules for questions:
I am not associated with Sun Microsystems, Inc. in any way, shape, fashion, or form.
I do not work for Sun, and this is not an official Sun Microsystems web site. I am not official Sun Microsystems support.
Advice I give comes with no guarantees or warranty of any kind, and should be used “at your own risk”.
I’ve been using Sun equipment for ten years now, but I am not at fault or responsible if you cannot fix your problem or lose data.
I will not do your homework for you.
I’ve had too many people want me to do their Java programming or send me questions that are obviously a homework assignment or want me to fill out surveys because they’re too lazy to do proper research.
Messages received in HTML or non-plaintext formats may be discarded.
I use a text-based program to read mail, not a web browser.
Impolite demands for help will be deleted.
If you DEMAND an answer to your question RIGHT AWAY, I’ll delete your mail. You’re more likely to get a prompt, accurate answer if you ask nicely.
