Sun advisory about SRAM on high-end systems

Posted by Bill Bradford on Mar 26, 2003

Sun has updated an alert, originally issued in January, about L2 SRAM problems on some high-end systems. “Sun has identified an issue with L2 SRAM parameter settings on Sun Fire 3800/4800/4810/6800, Sun Fire 12K/15K, Sun Fire V1280 and Netra 1280 systems. This issue may cause L2 SRAM errors to be produced, which can lead to domain panics or hangs.”
