The same box has yielded more, mystery, cables.

One is HP-branded, DB25M fanned out to three DE9Ms, and has A6144-63001
molded into the DB25M insulation. This appears to be some kind of
console breakout cable based on my half-assed Web skillz, but I haven't
managed to find what device it's the console cable for.

One has no obvious branding and has a connector mechanically compatible
with the SUNW,spif and SUNW,xbox, which is fanned out to three
connectors: a DB25F, a DB15F, and an HD50F. The DB15F looks like an
AUI connector except with thumbscrews instead of the AUI sliding clip.
The HD50F is mechanically compatible with Sun HD50 SCSI (such as on the
SS20) except that it has thumbscrews instead of latching clips. (The
DB25F also has thumbscrews for mechanical retention, but for a DB25
that's not unusual.)

One is short - about a foot - and the only apparent branding is "AMP"
on the (metal) connector shells. The connectors look identical and
look like HD50 or HD68, as used for narrow and wide SCSI, except wider
than either - a hand count of the pins says 80 pins, two rows of 40
each. It has clips like the usual HD50 narrow SCSI. It has a label on
the cable with three lines of text: "669867-001", "9727", and "MEXICO".
The only other markings I can find are on the cable insulation and look
like wire-maker branding and labeling. The print is partially missing
because the outer insulation ends at the connectors; assuming it is
repeated as usual, it is "TYPE CL2 75°C 28AWG (UL) MADISON CABLE CORP.
CSA AWM II A/B 75°C 300V".

One is a DB44M (DB shell with DE15 - VGA - pin spacing) on each end. I
see no branding or identification except for print on the outer
insulation, which says "E125840-T (UL) TYPE CL2 75°C 28 AWG HOSIWELL
CABLE LL80602 CSA TYPE PCC FT1-----E131088 [%] AWM 2919 80°C 30V
28AWG LOW VOLTAGE COMPUTER CABLE", where the [%] represents the
backwards-UR-ligature symbol. Again, I suspect this describes the wire
proper, not the cable-with-connectors. Each end has a yellow label
wrapped around the wire, on which is printed in black "CAUTION!" and,
spread across five lines, "Turn POWER OFF on the computer and modules
prior to connecting this Cable to Port Module(s). Failure to do so may
cause damage to equipment.".

I don't suppose anyone can maybe shed some light on these?
