It appears I've let my SS10E sleep too long, for now it won't start up.
At poweron, the green DC light comes on, and the yellow POST light comes
on as well.
The yellow one is supposed to shut off "after approximately 60 seconds"
and then the machine continues to boot.
Mine stays on forever (10 minutes or more) and no output of any kind to
the console.
The CPU boards - whether there is one or all four - show LED 0 and 2 lit
continuously without ever changing. The A/B LEDs to show if there's a
processor installed don't light.
Went down to one CPU board, removed and reinstalled that board, the
power supply, and the SCSI tray with no difference.
Position of the key made no difference as well.
If the SCSI tray is out, the front LEDs are the same, but all 7 LEDs on
the processor board are lit - but never the LEDs for the processors.
I'm kind of surprised that there's no output to the console. I certainly
feel like I've waited long enough, but maybe not?
Time to go find troubleshooting doc... It's been a while for this guy.
