So ... the Ubuntu 9.10 upgrade on Cymru's laptop last night failed.
However, I don't think it was Ubuntu's fault; looks like the power cord
got partly dislodged from the power adapter, and nobody noticed.  Either
way, the laptop isn't bootable today.

Clean reinstall time...
