This is one of the reasons that I run WEP 128 but I filter by MAC address
and I don't allow management of my WRT by the wireless side - you have to
plug into it to make changes.  I also turn off Upnp.
That keeps most of the riff-raff out and supports all my old devices.  I
have a handy cable or I could put up a temporary dd-wrt box or something
if I need to support multiple guests.
