[SunHELP] V240 console port doesn't respond

What I do in this case is this. Pull the boot drive, so the system will not boot up and will return you to an "ok" prompt.
Then, I get a console cable, and use the LOM. When you get a "lom" prompt, issue a command: "Prese <ESC> key, then "#", then ".". This should get you to a "console" prompt. Set your input-device to ttya, set your output-device to ttya. Then issue "reset-all"
On a V240, you should not need a null modem cable, you should use a console cable. If the V240 has a Serial A/B port, then you can use a null modem cable to access but if I recall, they do not.

in the Hyperterminal configuration, but it didn't
