I have seen this when the Exchange box has a different hostname from what
it is listed as in DNS - I had an Exchange box which was called "snoopy"
but listed in DNS as "mail." It told the sendmail server its name was
snoopy.domain.com, and sendmail couldn't resolve it.
Just a stab in the dark.
