Where the SSD extensions for SCSI ever supported by a parallel SCSI 
device?  I'm just curious.

SCSI SSD seems to be a bit to reductionist, since the can also be SCSI 
optical drive emulators (and outside of SCSI at least, it is well 
established to call something an emulator that pretends to be an optical 
drive when it is really files on a HDD or SSD) as well as emulating tape 
drives, and pretending to be Dyna DaynaPORT SCSI/Link devices (sadly 
usually doing Wifi only instead of ethernet like a real DaynaPORT).

I think the only things I haven't seen them be yet is:
