[rescue] 10GB emulated drive and disk layout.

Hello,

I've created a 10GB emulated drive with a ZuluSCSI fitted in a
SPARCstation 20 which has the latest firmware. I'm attempting to
partition this and install SunOS 4.1.4. The root filesystem is <1GB and
all are <2GB.

This appears to go well until the installer runs newfs on the h
partition and at which point I get errors. If I then run format and
examine the layout, it seems that the e,f,g, and h partitions have been
returned to zero. I can redefine these and run the installer again, but
around the time newfs is run on the root partition, the same thing happens.

The drive is defined as 19377c, 16h and 63s (10000392192 bytes).

Layout:

Slice            Start cyl        MB     Cylinders  End cyl
a (/)              0                    999     1935          1934
b (swap)      1935             1024    1984          3918
d (/var)         3919             512      992            4910
e (/data)       4911             1999    3873          8783
f (/usr/local) 8784             1999    3873         12656
g (/usr)          12657           1000    1937         14593
h (/home)     14594            1999    3873        18466

Not sure where I'm going wrong and would appreciate any suggestions!

Andrew
