Z8530s are available via eBay and many vendors all day long. They
were made in huge numbers; I don't really see them becoming difficult to
find in my lifetime. Heck I even have a few tubes of them here. In
PLCC, but still.
The same goes for 27512s. I have scads of them, I assume many other
people do, and they seem to be available just about everywhere.
The Am7990s are a different story, sure, but is there really any
point to worrying about the Z8530s and 27512s?
Not at all criticizing, and I applaud future-proofing. But we'll
probably get another 20yrs out of those parts, maybe more.
