Im sure this patch is probably the way to go, but just for completeness
I’ve used the Solaris 2.6 installer to “start an install”. After you enter
the date, just bail out of the install. It will set the time in the
timekeeper and everything will work fine. I should probably apply the
patch to my hosted images but that is a workaround.
