SCSI lives on quite well in FC and SAS? They are both built totally upon parallel SCSI,
which is what I assume your statement implies is dead.
I have datacenters chock full of SAS and FC.
Although the end of the road is starting to appear for both with the
changeover to NVMe storage in the industry, which totally forgoes any
SCSI transport layers to get the most speed running through them.
Although with NVMeoF, my understanding is that some basic SCSI technology is
still around inside the datacenter transports, especially that built upon FC.
