Yeah.  I would never do such a thing deliberately, possibly except to
make a point (and at risk of such things).

I've also had single-terminated or triple-terminated - never mind
quadruple-terminated - SCSI fail to work at all.  Sometimes it really
does deserve the rain-dance stereotype.
