I've never seen 5.25" SCSI floppies myself, but I am familiar with 3.5"
ones. They were used in some SGI workstations (Indigo, Indigo2, Octane,
probably others). It made things simpler where a drive bay could hold
either a floppy drive, DAT drive, or extra hard drive. In all cases the
interface was SCSI so nothing had to be changed internally. Just slide
in the new drive and you're good to go.

SCSI floppies were also used in some music keyboards/synthesizers from
what I've heard.

They're super expensive on ebay when they come up. Teac FD-235HS is one
example.
