  Really, nobody in the Sun world ran Solaris2 on sun4c, or even many sun4m machines "back in the day".  Everyone talks about putting Solaris2 on earlier SPARCstations these days, and I keep wondering why.  It's just not a good idea, and not what was commonly done, for good reasons.
