Actually, though, since the patent has expired, you should be able to
get blanks, measure the pins and determine the valid rotation by
examining the lock, and make a key _or_ have the lock repinned. Without
a working key, you'd have to just uncap the chambers, but you could
reassemble it after working out the correct key without much more than
some tools and maybe some replacement chamber caps. Some of these locks
actually use set screws as chamber caps, though I doubt that'd be true
on the smaller keyswitch types.
At the key level, there are only three rotations, it's not an arbitrary
angle. (Inside, there's another distinction, but that's just about
deterring picking.)
I have at least one machine with matching keys; I'll have to do a little
examining to see if I can determine blank type.
And yes, one has to get the $%^&*() lock out of the machine first. :)
