[rescue] ST11200N on Sun 3?

I have working Sun 3/60 - and wondered if I could
change the current boot disk to a ST11200N. This is a
1.05G disk that was used in some Sun 4 machines as far
as I know.

It hooks up fine, and I can partition and format the
disk (verify checks out). I can also copy the
mini-root over to the HD. But when I reboot with

b sd(0,0,1) -sw

I get an Invalid Checksum error on a read while it is
trying to boot.

Any ideas - or is this just not going to work with a
Sun 3? The disk checks out fine on a Sun 4.
