OK, fair enough. I have found BIOS updates for relatively ancient x86
kit before now -- most people never bother.
E.g. my main work desktop at the Linux vendor that's my dayjob had
never been updated; it was on BIOS A01. I found it was up to A19,
reflashed it with a DOS-bootable USB key, and it took 2B=-3min off the
box's POST time, and resolved an issue with PXE bootting.
Saving me B<hr a week for the next couple of years? Well worth doing, IMHO.
