I would believe that (PCI64 vs PCI-X). In fact, DL320g2 mentions some PCI64
options. It's been a few years since I dealt with those distinctions.
Nowadays it's just "is this x16, or x16 physical x4 electrical with a bit
of the hokey pokey?" :)

a dual 10/100 PCI64 card and a PCI 64/66 gigabit fiber card for
the DL320 G2, if that helps with the good or bad news. I know some of the
HP boxes I bought around 2008-2009 (DL385G5 for example) had different
riser boards for mixes of slots, but can't find evidence of such for this
model. .

it "PCI" whereas the 360g3/380g3 say "PCI-X". Quickspecs (
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11512_na/11512_na.pdf) say
"64-bit/33-MHz PCI" and "3.3V"

Good luck on the replacement.
