If you have stuff you can't get rid of, you can always donate it. At
least in the Bay Area.

I'm passing this on for a good charitable organization. I know that
at this time of year some of you may have new computer equipment
leaving perfectly functional older computers you are thinking of
"recycling". Here is one good option -- and it is tax deductable --
they will give you receipt.

WANTED: old computers and parts, working or not, for East Palo Alto
public high school students. We securely erase information from the
computers, refurbish them, and send them home with needy, hard-working
students. We also need monitors, USB flash drives, wireless
networking equipment, laser printers, mice, keyboards, RAM, hard
drives, blank CDs, cables, digital cameras, LCD projectors, office
supplies, and many more needs. We welcome donations from companies
and individuals. For more information, visit the Outreach page on the
PTA website:

Details of the program are at:

Thank you for helping bridge the Digital Divide.
