Not quite... RDRAM has traditionally found a role in game consoles, such
as the PlayStation 2, and now it's successor, XDR, is in the Playstation


The reason RDRAM and XDR are popular in some consoles is that it uses
fewer pins and fewer physical chips, both advantages in the confined
spaces of consoles.
