Yes. :) But it's not a perfect world. I remember my
complaint about moving to SCSI disks from SMD and IPI about
eleven years ago: no write-protect buttons.
AFAIK most (if not all) of the SCSI disks I've used in the last five years have a
write-protect jumper on the control board. I just assumed this was a standard

them, though I haven't seen a lot of them.
