Why yes, now that you mention it:

/root # prtvtoc dks0d5vh
* /dev/rdsk/dks0d5vh (bootfile "/unix")
*     516 bytes/sector
Partition Type Fs Start: sec Size: sec Mount Directory
 0          xfs           264192     35464058
 1          raw             4096       260096
 8       volhdr                0         4096
10       volume                0     35728250
/root #

And that's _after_ formatting with fx. Comparing that to a disk I haven't
reformatted shows the unformatted one is 516, too. All the prtvtoc man page
examples show 512, so I'm assuming that's what's wrong: the new disks are
516 bytes/sector and need to be reformatted to 512.

The fx man page doesn't say diddley about changing the sector size while
formatting, though. Does anyone know how to get it to do that?
