I wish I could say that. I have one 3com switch that works flawlessly
except that it Will Not negotiate a proper connection with any Macintosh
running OS X. I had my old Blue-and-White G3 on it, my Pismo, an now my
PowerBook. If you set both ends to 100baseTX-FD, it will work
sometimes, but the Macintosh will invariably see 100baseTX-HD on the
line if you unplug it from the switch and plug it back into the switch.

I documented this for Apple on all three machines, and they don't see it
as an Ethernet driver bug.

Oh well, I got a ciscoSystems 2924XL as payment for helping someone with
a SAN nightmare, so all is well. :)
