The Fast Ethernet/UW SCSI cards vary widely. I'd say at least $30 for the
card alone. As to the Ultra 1, without a look inside as to the CPU/Memory/
Disk it's hard to say. Assume that you're looking at a Ultra 1 170 with
128MB of memory and a single 4.5GB disk, you could be looking at $20 - $75

Sun Ultra 1 170, 128MB, CD, Disk unknown: ($69.99)

Sun Ultra 1 170, 64MB, CD, no disk: ($30.00)

Sun Ultra 1 170, 256MB, CD, 8GB disk: ($28.00)

Sun Ultra 1 170, No RAM, CD, 2 Disks (unknown size), Creator Video: ($24.99)

Now that's just a small sampling. Still, you can see that it's not easy to say
it's worth X. If I were you, I'd offer him $50-$60 (depending on the inside
of the system) and go from there. What's the worst he could say? No?
