Open the machine, pull the NVRAM, and boot the machine (leaving it open),
It'll take loger than usual to boot (about 2-3 minutes), but should
eventually land you at the OpenBoot prompt with a message stating that the
NVRAM is invalid. At that point, reinsert the NVRAM, and issue the command
'setenv security-mode none' (no quotes).

If the machine refuses to boot at all without the NVRAM, there is an even
scarier method: Boot the machine with the NVRAM in it, but yank it out
directly after you hear the keyboard beep and the screen comes on. That
should boot it to the OpenBoot prompt. From there, proceed as outline above.
