Finding fiber GigE nics that support jumbo frames is
easy. "Alteon AceNIC, 3Com 3C985(B), NetGear GA620,
SGI Gigabit or Farallon PN9000-SX" all support an MTU
of 9000 (that info was pulled from the linux kernel
docs and past experience.)

But finding GigE switches (copper of fiber) that
support jumbo frames is another story entirely and
unless you're just going between just two machines,
you're gonna need the switch to accomplish anything.
