Yes, it's FAT.

But remember, there are at least 3 versions of FAT: FAT12, FAT16, and FAT32.

FAT12 -> floppies
FAT16 -> hard drives, max partition size ~ 2GB
FAT32 -> hard drives, max partition size ~ 127GB
