Can we cut out the politics here?  I'm sure that no one wants to know my
stupid political opinions, so can you extend me the same courtesy?

This (obviously) doesn't apply to laws that affect our jobs/hobbies, but
the out and out Democrat vs. Republican vs. Communist discussions really
get on my nerves.  They also seem to generate a huge volume of mail to
the list, and cause lots of frayed nerves.

Let's not piss anyone else here off, guys/gals!
