Fun, fast car:  Subaru Forester?  Will fit the family, plenty
of room, the 2004 turbo model does 0-60 in 5.2 seconds.  I have
a 2003 model (no turbo then) and it's a well-finished car, especially
if you live in an AWD climate.

If you really want to spoil yourself, try the Subaru WRX STi edition.
300hp, 6-speed manual, 0-60 in 4.87 seconds. (or its closest competitor,
the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, with similar specs)

The Subaru Baja also got a turbo this year.
