The Sun Migration Expert Portal is designed to assist ISVs, developers,
and architects migrate to the Solaris(tm) Operating Environment. The
rule-based, Expert Portal provides assistance and custom advice for
Windows NT to Solaris OE migration projects. It provides tools, code samples,
articles, technologies, and education resources to aid in a successful
migration. Users can create, view, and update projects as they progress
through different migration stages while taking advantage of an extensive
knowledge base, on-line consulting, and customized expert advice reports.

Sun Microsystems, particularly that companys work on the accessibility
features in GNOME2, has been chosen to receive the Helen Keller Achievement
Award in Technology presented by the American Foundation for the Blind.
The award recognizes “notable accomplishments of individuals who are role
models or improve the quality of life for people who are blind or visually
impaired.” In its work on the GNOME Accessibility architecture, the foundation
said, Sun set an example for the entire computing industry and did much to
lift the barrier between blindness and productive computing.Link
